Miller Bates, LLC was formed in 2015 when David Bates joined Dick Miller to expand the private-lending business Dick had been running through another firm since 2003. The combined team brings more than 40 years of real estate lending experience and has funded over $250 million in loans across Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.

The firm focuses on short-term bridge loans for real estate investors and developers, originated and serviced in-house — with every loan backed by recorded deeds of trust and closed through a title company and attorney.

We lend where we know the ground. We answer our own phones. And we offer accredited investors the chance to participate in individual, loan-specific opportunities secured by real property — not pooled funds.
